About Us

It all begins with an idea.

Birdsong Pottery was established in 2018.  In the fall of 2017, I found myself with time on my hands and, on a whim, took a pottery class.  I was hooked from the first day!  While most potters throw on the wheel, I prefer handbuilding. I love the way I can get creative with style and decorative design.

Much in the way that the sound of birds singing makes my heart happy, working with clay feeds my creative soul.  There is still so much to learn and create and I’m so excited to see what comes next.
